In production of tiles, the non-uniform loading and consequent differences in specific pressure, generally cause geometric deformation in tile. Iso-static punches, which utilize the principle of incompressibility of oil, minimize this defect and contribute immensely to higher quality production.
Resin Coated Upper and Lower Punches
The punches are manufactured from hardened steel or toughened steel with wear resistant material welded on the edges. The punches are ground and finally covered with a layer of special vulcanized rubber.

We have an array of over four hundred rustic designs and many more are being developed every day. We use latest Scantech Laser Equipment for scanning minute details and use this cloud of information through a software, for three dimensional CNC machining. This technique is also successfully used for Reverse Engineering for production of plastic and other components.
Liners with carbide inserts, these will improve life and reduce down time substantially.
Magnets for Upper Punches
Electro Permanent Magnets (epm) with magnetic power above 100 mt/ sqm. Failsafe even when power fails. Used in ceramic moulds, milling and grinding machines and to hold plastic moulds. These magnets are based on permanent magnetic field and have been recently developed to hold upper punches. Albeit expensive in the beginning. These are more efficient and economical as there is no consumption of electricity except for switching it on and off. The magnet holds punches even if the electricity fails.
Magnets for Upper Punches
In order to reduce expenses on a number of moulds, it has been possible to design the mould consisting of a universal base kit (ubk) and interchangeable die kit (idk) for different formats. While ubk is fixed to the press bed plate and is common for all tiles, the idk is peculiar to a specific size and is interchanged to suit production needs. It is not only cost effective but also reduces down time for mould change.
